Chinese Almond Cookies

Chinese Almond Cakes

Ingredients


  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup butter, softened
 
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/2 cup slivered almonds, lightly toasted


Directions

  1. In a large bowl, beat together the butter and sugar until smooth and blended. Beat in egg and almond extract.  Add flour, salt and baking powder. Combine well, add almonds last.
  2. Use cookie scoop to form cookies.
Bake 375 10 to 15 minutes.
