Chinese Almond Cakes
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2/3 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 1/2 cup slivered almonds, lightly toasted
Directions
- In a large bowl, beat together the butter and sugar until smooth and blended. Beat in egg and almond extract. Add flour, salt and baking powder. Combine well, add almonds last.
- Use cookie scoop to form cookies.
Bake 375 10 to 15 minutes.
