Caramel Apple Cake



Apple Cake with Sauce  Mrs. O'Keefe (Chantal)
2 cups Sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2 cups vegetable oil
3 cups apples, chopped
1 cup raisins
1 cup nuts, chopped
2 teaspoons vanilla
Sift
Together
3 cups Flour
1 teaspoon soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
Sauce:
1/2 cup Butter
1 cup Brown Sugar
1/4 cup Milk
Mix sugar, eggs and oil well. Add sifted flour mixture.  Add nuts, apples, raisins, and vanilla.  Pour into well greased and floured mold pan.. Bake 1 hour at 350 F.
Sauce:  1/2 cup butter
             1   cup Brown Sugar
            1/4 cup milk
Boil 2 1/2 minutes and pour immediately into hot mold.  Cool; then take out of mold.
